Lockdown V2 just got tasty!
Posh drive through, ready meals, Narnia afternoon tea, afternoon cheese...Lockdown V2 just got tasty
We’ve been preparing food at The Assembly House for centuries (not us in person, we’re not that old, even though sometimes it feels that way!) but we’ve only just joined the takeaway market! Cakeaway, our takeaway afternoon tea service, began at the end of the first lockdown, but we’ve added a whole lot more to our click and collect service!
You can now order Narnia at The Assembly House , our new savoury afternoon tea ‘Afternoon Cheese’, Triple Chocolate Scones with Nutella and Clotted Cream, a range of drinks that include our famous loose leaf teas, prosecco, wine and Fentiman’s soft drinks AND our brand new range of ready meals!
Richard Hughes has created a new range of pick-it-up-heat-it-up-eat-it-up easy as pie ready meals which involve us doing all the hard work while you enjoy a great meal! This week there will be cassoulet, salmis of game, tartiflette (can you tell we missed going to France this year?!) AND those Assembly House favourites, the Posh Cheese on Toast mix – just add bread! – and our famous Chicken and Ham Pancakes. And to gild the lily we have pastry wizard Mark Mitson’s glorious Bread and Butter Pudding and Sticky Toffee Apple Pudding all available to buy with our pre-order service.
Click, choose, pay and collect from the poshest drive-through imaginable! Just enter through our magnificent gates (enter on the gate to the left of the building, leave by the gate closest to Norwich Theatre Royal), drive right up to our front door, open your boot and we’ll do the rest!
STOP PRESS! We have JUST linked up with the wonderful Norwich Urban Collective who can also deliver all of these fantastic treats to your door! Postcode restrictions and delivery fee apply. See here for full details.
Every time you order from The Assembly House, Richard, Sam and Jamie do a little dance – your orders help The Assembly House team continue to sprinkle magic all over Norwich and Norfolk. We can’t wait to reopen our doors – but until we can, we’ve got you covered. Look after yourselves, we miss you.
Love from Richard and The Assembly House
