ABOUT THE FEED
The Feed is a social enterprise catering business and café in Norwich.

At The Feed we are passionate about food and passionate about people. We inspire people by using food towards gaining a more meaningful lifestyle and gaining sustainable employment.

At The Feed our social purpose is to find ways to prevent poverty, hunger and homelessness in Norwich. Daily we work towards our vision which is Communities Free from Poverty.

HISTORY
In March 2014, we were created by the LEAP project in Norwich and were registered as a Community Interest Company to combine business with doing good, changing the perception of homelessness across the public and private sectors.

The Feed was born, a catering enterprise designed to grow as a business and have a positive impact on the clients accessing our services. The new enterprise gained backing and funding support from the Norfolk Police and Crime Commissioner and later the New Anglia LEP. We continue to be supported by Norwich City Council and are grateful to the Big Lottery who supported Leap for six years as part of St Martins Housing Trust.

ENVIRONMENTAL CREDENTIALS
Wherever possible we reduce food waste, use compostable or recyclable packaging on our products, we recycle our waste, offer free water bottle refills and encourage people to use reusable coffee cups
